Christina was my great grandmother.  She was born in Liverpool

She trained at Notre Dame, Mount Pleasant and is listed there in the 1891 census.  She taught at St Mary’s in Newton le Willows, where she was mistress of the Juniors from the age of 21.  She lived in lodgings - but we have no record of the address.  I saw the school log books which record her visits to assess infant pupils before they transferred to the Juniors.

Whilst living in St Helens, Christina met William NAYLOR of Parr,  She married him, after he had converted to catholicism.

The newly weds moved to Birkenhead, where their first child Frederick NAYLOR was born.

Probably taught in the Everton / Kirkdale ara - St John’s RC school, for example.

Died 1946
